2000 Interbike

The big news at Interbike for IF was clearly the introduction of the Ti Crown Jewel. Our booth was an island booth, open on 4 sides, ideally located near the entrance and next to the Shimano booth . The booth was organized with a central kiosk and the bikes arrayed around the perimeter with our giant 3-D head badge suspended above. We were again aided by friends Ed Magrecke and Christina Begy, star endurance racer.

Lloyd, Erin and Michelle of our painting department did an outstanding job of preparing our show bikes. IF increased the offering of stock colors for 2001 from 12 to 32, the most in the industry. We increased our offerings from 6 models and 59 standard sizes to 7 models and 91 standard sizes. As in the past, others from the industry flooded our booth and two of the show bikes were sold to industry colleagues even before the show opened.
