Getting Sponsored

IF accepts resumes for grass roots level sponsorship (mountain or road) between the months of September and December. All resumes are responded to in writing by the end of January.

If you are considering IF as your new sponsor, be sure to follow these guidelines when submitting a proposal:

• You must be an expert level racer or higher (Category four or higher on the road) in any age category.
• You must submit your resume in writing. Please DO NOT send your resume as an email file. You may find contact information by Clicking Here

In addition, your resume shoud include the following:

• Your full name.
• Your racing age.
• Your address.
• Your telephone number
• Your race results for the last two seasons (including DNF).
• Your NORBA or USCF license number.

All resumes should be accompanied by a cover letter. The cover letter should address the following topics:

• An introduction about who you are
• A summary of your racing experience
• What you are looking for in the way of sponsorship (be specific).
• What you are offering IF in return for support.
